Jesus wasn't a Christian. Mohammed wasn't a Muslim. Buddha wasn't a Buddhist.
Written by the hand of men, doctrines are the accumulation of our need to explain the unexplainable. And, all we could do was use the tools of the time in order to do it. Think about your dreams. How many times have you tried to explain them with their quirky or scary scenes and emotion? And today, we even think we know what dreams are really for and what they really are. Do we? Still, we are hard-pressed to offer suitable definitions of their effects.
So too, have we struggled since we began stepping out of the caves and developing our prefrontal cortex in our relentless pursuit to explain our experiences. Joseph Campbell, well-known expert on Mythology, says,
"Mythology is an organization of images metaphoric of experience, action, and fulfillment of the human spirit in the field of a given culture at a given time."
And, as well as creating the doctrine, we justify and defend our own paradigms with relentless devotion...as if 'we' somehow have the only truth. Well, we don't have the truth...until we seek it where it has been aptly hidden: within each of us.
There is only one truth.
There is only one place where the Truth lives
No one can fake it.
Humans deform the truth; based on our own limited perspective, and in our attempt to understand and explain the unexplainable.
We're innocent until we no longer allow everyone to have their own unique relationship with The Force. We are eagerly trained to compartmentalize, dissect, name and claim everything. We are, once again, domesticated: taught how to conform to a certain set of standards indicative of the culture in which we live and each person's unique experiences. Each culture has fundamental basics, but all are identified and procreated by the values of the ruling party or parties. The church has their clergy. Countries have their governments, corporations have their CEO's and so on. And we conform.
And likewise, each individual has their own set of filters and opinions forged from their own unique experiences. No two people in the entire world will see everything the same because of these dynamics. Do we forbid each, or do we celebrate?
And when we leave important things up to others to run, we are at their mercy. We must obey, or leave the pack. We must pay taxes or go to jail. We must buy this now or lose out. We must believe this or go to hell. We are inundated with rules and regulations...'out there.' The only place we are truly free...is within. The only place your own Truth can reside is within you. And reaching that center requires: honesty, commitment and getting out of your own way in order to truly see the Truth. We must leave our paradigms behind in the physical world to travel to the Truth.
And when you get there...the orchestra is playing, the sunlight is glorious and everything is exactly as it is meant to be. You will find a calm wisdom and a gentle grace filling your center. You will be able to hear and see, feel and understand the greater purpose, and you will begin to receive other amazing messages...just for you, that will softly guide you to your own Gifts, and your very own joy.
Don't miss out.
