Does it really matter...that we have to "fight" about who is "right"? In this particular example neither church is making a good impression. And who amongst us has the toll free number to god anyway? Who knows these things for certain, and how do they know it?
Regardless of whether the Bible tells us so or not, we're still fighting about the truth of the Bible in the first place, never mind a simple concept of what heaven contains. For me the jury is still out on what heaven is all about! And I see the Spirit in animals. Aboriginal philosophy believes everything has a spirit. Again, does it matter in the Grand Scheme of Things that we believe what other people say? Do we have to commit to a congregational belief system?
How about what I believe? My Faith matters...to me, and that's all I need to care about. My relationship with the Universe is my own. West Wavers don't need someone else to beat them into submission over a belief. How about you?
